1993 Dong Quang was established as a yarn distributor and trader for both local and exporting markets

1996 1st manufacturing plant named as Dong Quang Knitwears Limited was built and located at Tan Thoi Hiep Industrial Zone, Ho Chi Minh City with the capacity of 15,000 spindles

2001 With the increasing local demand on yarns, Dong Quang Knitwears was expanding to 70,000 spindles

2006 Dong Quang Spinning Corporation was found at Hai Son Industrial Park, Long An Province with the capacity of 110,000 spindles

2009 Dong Quang Spinning was continuously growing and expanding to 210,000 spindles, including producing tradition items and twisting and slub yarns. Dong Quang was named as one of the 500 Biggest Companies and the Second Largest Spinning mill in Vietnam

2010 Dong Quang had total capacity of 280,000 spindles producing 36,000 tons of variety of spun yarns per year. Dong Quang was recognized as the top high-quality yarn producer in Vietnam achieving ISO 9001:2008
